Capitalizing on Your Loan Broker Website


It’s a fact: Loan brokers that want to succeed need to have a well-functioning website. There’s no getting around it anymore! Your website should be the central hub that your customers turn to when they want to know more about your services, more about who you are, and more about how to contact you.


Here are some things we always recommend:


- Stop writing novels on your website. People don’t have the time, or the energy, to read for hours about the loans and skills you have to offer. They want quick and easy information at their fingertips! Get right to the point and encourage people to hop on a quick phone call with you if they have more questions.


- Don’t be afraid to show some personality. Customers love seeing the face behind the business and knowing that you have a great personality can help them feel more comfortable in an otherwise nerve-wracking loan process. Share what you love to do outside of your business and connect with customers on a deeper level.


- Give information in a variety of ways. Different people learn in different ways, so why not cater to them all? Rather than only sticking to long-form articles about the loans you offer, make a 3-minute video explaining them yourself to put on the front page of your website! Or better yet, DO BOTH.


There is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to websites, and how you want to showcase your business will determine what your website’s functionality will look like. Don’t be afraid to think outside of the box to carve your own path in the loan broker industry!
